The announcement was made at the ASCO Annual Meeting (May 31 - June 4, 2019  McCormick Place, Chicago, IL).

The Novotech group has conducted about 250 projects in Oncology studies and recent Asia-Pacific data shows the demand in the region will continue:

  • From the 4,700 trials in Oncology initiated in 2018 worldwide, at least one country in Asia Pacific was involved in 46% of these trials (2,180) (source GlobalData)
  • For these Oncology studies initiated in 2018, patient recruitment rate (expressed as median patient/site/month) for trials involving the Asia-Pacific was over 20% higher than worldwide median (1.17 p/s/m vs 0.94 p/s/m). (source GlobalData)
