Julie Wilhjelm is Novotech’s Head of Site Strategy and Engagement, North America, bringing more than 20 years of clinical research experience across clinical operations, study execution, portfolio oversight, and site strategy.
Throughout her career, Julie has brought a site-centered perspective to clinical development, with a focus on incorporating site insight earlier into protocol design, feasibility, and operational planning. More recently, she has built and led site strategy and engagement functions that strengthen connections between research sites, sponsors, and study teams, supporting more effective study planning and study delivery.
Guided by the principle that studies succeed when sites succeed, Julie works to ensure the realities of trial delivery are considered from the outset. Her experience across the clinical research ecosystem helps sponsors develop practical strategies that improve trial predictability while supporting sites and the patients they serve.
